Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support a large hospital facility in Temple, TX, focusing on commercial HVAC systems. You will perform routine maintenance, tests, and troubleshooting to ensure reliable, safe operation of climate-control equipment essential to patient care.

The role requires proactive, hands-on technicians who can manage work orders in the CMMS, communicate with hospital staff, and maintain system documentation and compliance across the campus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1–2 years of related experience.
• Must be physically able to perform duties including lifting 50 lbs and climbing stairs/ladders.
• Strong basic reading, writing, and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC and related systems.
• Operate and troubleshoot commercial rooftop units, air handling systems, and chillers.
• Process work orders and document maintenance activities in the CMMS.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls and coordinate with hospital staff.
• Inspect installations for safety and code compliance.
