Westerly Hospital is seeking a Housekeeper I to perform general cleaning tasks in assigned hospital areas and related buildings. You will follow infection control guidelines, support patient care environments, and assist with related duties as needed.

This role may involve area-specific assignments, patient transfer tasks, linen or laundry duties, and potential off-site functions. Operates housekeeping equipment and works independently or in teams under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and write English required.

• Cleaning activities in assigned areas following department policies.
• Cleans per infection control policies and procedures.
• Accepts and completes general and related assignments as directed.
• Attends required safety education programs.
• Contributes to high patient cleanliness and satisfaction standards.
