Job summary

Universal Health Services' Inland Valley and Rancho Springs hospitals in California are seeking a dedicated housekeeping professional to maintain clean, safe patient and non-patient areas. You will follow schedules and procedures to support a healing environment and may float between facilities to meet operational needs.

This role emphasizes floor care, waste handling, and courteous interaction with patients, families and staff.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Previous experience buffing, burnishing, stripping and/or waxing floors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs hospital cleaning duties in patient and non-patient care areas per schedule and approved procedures.
• Transports and secures trash, biohazardous waste and soiled linen.
• Operates equipment for hard surface and carpet floor care.
• Greets others, including patients, families and staff, supporting a friendly, healing environment.
• May float to the other facility within Southwest Health Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospital as needed, with orientation and validation.
