Job summary

Universal Health Services (UHS) seeks a housekeeping professional to perform hospital cleaning duties at its Inland Valley and Rancho Springs facilities in Wildomar and Murrieta, CA. The role includes sanitation of patient and non-patient areas, waste handling, and floor care, with potential cross-site mobility as needed.

Experience in hospital housekeeping and floor finishing is preferred; the position emphasizes maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Experience buffing, burnishing, stripping and/or waxing floors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs hospital cleaning duties in patient and non-patient care areas according to schedules and procedures.
• Transports and secures trash, biohazardous waste and soiled linen.
• Operates equipment for hard surface and carpet floor care.
• Greets patients, families and staff to support a friendly, healing environment.
• May float to the other facility within Southwest Health Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospital as needed.
