Xanitos, Inc. is hiring part-time Hospital Housekeepers at Valleywise Behavioral Health Maryvale, Phoenix AZ. The Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers may work in any location on client premises and perform cleaning to keep facilities orderly on a health care campus.

Tentative schedule: Mid Shift 12PM-8:30PM or 2nd Shift 3:00PM-11:30PM. Must be available to work weekends and holidays. Requirements include High School Diploma or GED, English language ability, and post-offer medical,

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial industry preferred.
• Medical environment cleaning a plus.
• Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required.
• High school diploma or GED; or equivalent required.
• Ability to follow basic written and verbal instructions in English.
• Annual Influenza (flu) immunization is a condition of employment unless exemptions granted.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
• Sweeps and/or vacuums floors.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork.
• Washes walls, ceilings, and woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empties wastebasket and transports trash and waste to disposal area.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Transports small equipment or tools between departments.

Job Overview:

The Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers may work in any location on client premises. This individual cleans and keeps in an orderly condition facilities or locations in a health care campus. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but Xanitos may identify other responsibilities of the position. These responsibilities may differ among accounts, depending on business necessities, client requirements and applicable industry standards.
