Job summary

Baptist Health in Fleming Island, FL is seeking a Hospital Housekeeper to join the Environmental Services team. The role requires maintaining a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff, including cleaning, trash removal, and linen handling during day shifts.

This part-time position offers 24 hours per week with rotating weekends and holidays. A High School Diploma is preferred, and 1-2 years of Environmental Services experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years Environmental Services experience preferred.
• High School Diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of cleaning duties, including janitorial and custodial services.
• Collects trash and linens for disposal/ cleaning.
• Sweeps, mops, dusts, and sanitizes areas including offices, patient rooms, waiting areas and non-patient spaces.
• Maintains cleaning supplies in accordance with OSHA requirements.
• Follows safety and security protocols; supports team and hospital standards.

These machines break down the DNA of germs in the hospital environment before manual cleaning of an area is performed, keeping our team members and patients better protected.Shift Details: Part-Time, Days, 7:00am- 3:30pm, Rotating Weekends and Holidays are Required (24/hours weekly)Location: Baptist ClayHospital Housekeeper General Responsibilities:Performs a variety of cleaning duties as assigned.
