Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a part-time Housekeeper to join our Grant Environmental Services Team. This role focuses on cleaning and maintaining patient and non-patient areas to support a safe, compassionate hospital environment.

The 2nd shift covers 24 hours weekly. No previous experience is required, but the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and a commitment to dignity and respect for patients and staff are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily cleaning procedures in patient and non-patient areas to provide a clean, safe hospital environment.
• Completes detailed cleaning tasks weekly or at discharge to meet quality inspections and patient satisfaction.
• Cleans and sanitizes restrooms to meet quality standards.
• Handles trash disposal and maintains a tidy facility.
• Attends required training and safety programs to ensure compliance and safety.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
