Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress in Cypress, TX is seeking a Hospital Housekeeper I for the 3:00PM to 11:30PM shift. You will clean clinical and non-clinical areas according to hospital policy, adhere to safety and sanitation standards, and assist with waste disposal and linen handling.

Maintain a professional appearance and report any hazards. Applicants should have a High School diploma or equivalent and 1+ years in healthcare and housekeeping or service-related fields.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in healthcare preferred.
• 1+ years of housekeeping or service-related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean clinical and non-clinical areas per policy.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation policies.
• Handle storage, disposal of RMW, Hazmat, solid waste and linen.
• Maintain Environmental Service uniform and professional appearance at all times.
• Report hazards and unsafe conditions.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Major Responsibilities:

• Responsible for cleaning clinical and non-clinical areas of the facility in accordance with departmental and hospital policy. Will also perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation policies.
• Adhere to storage, handling and disposal of RMW, Hazmat, solid waste and linen.
• Maintain and adhere to Environmental Service uniform and personal appearance standards at all time
• Report all hazards and unsafe work conditions.

What qualifications you will need:

• High School Graduate or Equivalent preferred
• 1 + years of experience in healthcare preferred
• 1 + years of experience in housekeeping or service-related field preferred
