Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East in Atlanta is seeking a Housekeeper for healthcare facilities on the first shift. This temp-to-hire role pays $17/hr and runs 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, cleaning patient rooms, wards, lounges, restrooms, offices, and other assigned areas.

Responsibilities include following schedules and methods, dusting surfaces, emptying trash, replenishing supplies, handling chemicals safely, and supporting admissions, discharges, and transfers with timely cleaning

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of housekeeping experience.
• Hospital setting experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Know-how of handling, mixing, labeling, and disposing of workplace chemicals.
• Knowledge of procedures for cleaning chemical spills and exposure response.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent service in interactions with customers, coworkers, patients, visitors, physicians, and volunteers.
• Performs cleaning functions in assigned areas per schedules and methods.
• Dusts horizontal surfaces.
• Empties trash and cleans waste containers.
• Spot cleans walls and windows.
• Replenishes room supplies.
• Cleans and polishes fixtures and surfaces.
• Drys and mops floors; spot cleans carpets.
• Makes beds and distributes linens as needed.
• Performs checkout cleaning.
• Follows chemical handling and disposal procedures.
• Supports quality improvement and turnover of discharges/transfers.
