Job Summary

Baptist is looking to add a Hospital Housekeeper to join our Baptist Medical Center, Environmental Services team. This full-time day position works from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with rotating weekends and holidays. The Hospital Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of cleaning duties, including janitorial and custodial services.
• Sweeps, mops, dusts, and sanitizes areas such as offices, bathrooms, patient rooms, non-patient areas, procedure rooms, and waiting areas.
• Maintains cleaning supplies per OSHA requirements.
• Maintains a friendly and professional attitude.
• Follows safety and security protocols.
• Performs other duties as required.

Technology and Innovation

Baptist utilizes state-of-the-art UV Disinfection Technology via UV Robotic Machines, which break down germs' DNA before manual cleaning, enhancing safety for staff and patients.
