Job summary

Trinity Health in the United States is seeking a Full time Environmental Service Technician to perform cleaning in patient care, non-patient care and common areas. The shift is Day Shift, 7am - 3:30pm with every other weekend and every other holiday.

This role requires safety and regulatory compliance, plus the ability to operate cleaning equipment (floor machines, burnishers, scrubbers) and use cleaning chemicals. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Participates in orientation and continuing education and updates and maintains knowledge and skills related to specific areas of expertise.
• With appropriate training must be proficient in the operation of various cleaning equipment including but not limited to: Automatic floor machines, burnishers, scrubbers and carpet cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs all cleaning functions in assigned areas to maintain sanitary conditions.
• Focus of cleaning activities are in patient care, non-patient care and common areas.
• Safety and regulatory compliance is a condition of employment.
• May be required to work other shifts as well as rotating schedules and overtime.
