Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a dedicated housekeeping team member for Lehigh Valley Hospital - Schuylkill. You will perform cleaning and disinfection to maintain a safe, tidy environment for patients of all ages, including adolescents and adults, under established protocols.

Responsibilities include bed making, linen distribution, supply management, and reporting repairs. The role requires physical stamina and basic tech skills; a high school diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year of housekeeping experience.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Knowledge of equipment such as vacuums and commercial washers and dryers.
• Must have basic phone and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and disinfects according to established protocols.
• Spot cleans walls, windows, furniture and carpets.
• Keeps soap, towels, toilet tissue and supplies stocked.
• Makes beds and distributes linens.
• Cleans and sanitizes all surfaces throughout the facility.
• Reports repairs or replacements and follows up as needed.
