UMass Memorial Health is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to support infection control and patient comfort across our campus. This role aligns with a 40-hour work week, with a 7:00am to 3:30pm day shift and non-exempt status.

The position involves extensive cleaning duties, bed sanitation, room preparation and adherence to safety standards. A minimum of 18 years old and 2–3 years experience as a Houseworker are required.

Qualifikationen

• 1. Ability to read, write, and follow simple English instruction.
• 2. 2 to 3 years’ experience as a Houseworker.
• 3. Employees must be at least 18 years of age to perform this role.

Aufgaben

• 1. Performs duties of Housekeeper, including dry and wet mopping and cleaning in corridors, stairways, and other areas, burnishes floors using burnishers and vacuums carpeted areas.
• 2. Performs duties related to checkouts including sanitizing beds, making beds, cleaning patient room, furniture, and mopping floor. Moves beds and furniture as required.
• 3. Performs isolation procedures in nurseries and formula rooms periodically and in isolation rooms after discharge according to procedures.
• 4. Cleans desks and furniture in office areas; high dusting, vents, and curtains; uses climbing apparatus as needed.
• 5. Prepares rooms for meetings; arrange furniture neatly.
