Job summary

Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD is hiring a Regular housekeeping/custodian to maintain a clean environment in patient rooms, terminals, offices, and public areas. The role is Monday-Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays, requiring strong computer skills and reliability.

You will join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to moving health forward for patients and staff. HS/GED and 1–3 months related experience preferred; PTO day 1 for eligible hires, retirement match,

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform essential job functions with visual acuity.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean/neat environment in working areas including patient rooms, offices, hallways and lobby areas.
• Participates in cleaning activities such as dusting, washing, mopping and vacuuming.
• Keeps stocked with supplies and maintains cleaning carts.
• Maintains good customer relations and supports confidentiality and safety.
• May assist with sorting, washing, and delivering linens.
