Aiken Regional Medical Centers in Aiken, SC is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe hospital environment. Responsibilities include cleaning offices, patient rooms, common areas, and using cleaning chemicals safely to uphold standards.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, previous housekeeping experience preferred, ability to operate cleaning equipment and strong customer service skills. Comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience a plus, preferably in a healthcare environment.
• Must be able to use housekeeping equipment such as vacuum cleaners, buffers, battery operated equipment, mops and carpet equipment.
• Reading and numerical competency; Customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Cleans offices, patient rooms, offices, classrooms, common areas, lavatories, halls, food service areas and any other areas that may require attention.
• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, polishes floors and vacuums hallways, stairs and office space.
• Will be required to properly and safely use cleaning chemicals per given standards.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
