Job summary

Lakeside Behavioral Health System in Memphis, Tennessee seeks a Hospital Housekeeper to maintain clean, sanitary areas in a patient-centered facility. You will contribute to a safe, welcoming environment aligned with our policies and the Lakeside philosophy, supporting care teams and staff daily.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, following infection control practices, and using standard cleaning equipment.

Qualifications

• Education: Prefer high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Prefer prior housekeeping experience in a hospital, healthcare or hospitality setting.
• Knowledge: Knowledge of equipment usage including vacuum cleaner, buffer, pressure washer and cleaning products. Knowledge of safety and infection control practices highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Housekeeper maintains assigned areas in a clean sanitary, orderly and attractive condition providing a suitable environment for the care of patients and staff in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary environment for patients and staff, ensuring a welcoming, comfortable and safe facility.
• Follow Lakeside’s philosophy and objectives while adhering to infection control practices and safety standards.
