Job summary

Baptist seeks a dedicated hospital housekeeping professional to maintain clean and safe patient and non-patient areas within the Medical Center. You will participate in quality improvement activities and follow established policies and procedures to ensure a healthy environment for patients and staff.

Responsibilities include cleaning, disinfecting, stocking supplies, and supporting department goals. Training is provided on hire, and a high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospital housekeeping and infection control.
• High school diploma or GED; training provided on the job.
• Familiar with safety guidelines and housekeeping standards.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and disinfects patient and non-patient areas following cleaning protocols.
• Maintains equipment, storage rooms and environmental spaces in orderly condition.
• Performs floor maintenance and adheres to department policies.
