Job summary

Bridge Point is hiring full-time Grill/Prep Cooks for the hospital cafeteria in New Lenox, IL. This role requires kitchen experience and a customer-service mindset in a fast-paced environment.

You will prepare and cook food, operate grills, fryers and ovens, assist prep for daily specials, serve customers, and maintain a clean, sanitary workspace while following hospital food-safety guidelines.

Hospital Grill / Prep Cook

We are currently hiring full-time Grill/Prep Cooks to join the cafeteria team at a local hospital. This is a great opportunity for someone with kitchen experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and providing excellent customer service.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $19.20 per hour
• 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM - Full-time
• 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM - Full-time

• Prepare and cook food for the hospital cafeteria
• Operate grills, fryers, and ovens
• Prepare ingredients and assist with prep for daily grill specials

Uniform & Appearance Requirements

• Black, full non-slip shoes
• Black slacks - no jeans, leggings, or sweatpants
• Cook shirt or plain black shirt
• No jewelry, including facial piercings
• No nail polish or fake nails
• Facial hair must be covered with a beard guard
• Hair must be restrained in a hairnet; hairnets and beard guards are provided
