Qualifications

• 2+ years hospital food service with working knowledge of patient diets.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficiency with basic computer tools and hospital systems.

Responsibilities

• Optimize daily operations by proactively managing staffing levels and minimizing substitutions.
• Oversee food production and service quality, monitor temperature logs and cleaning schedules.
• Train staff on inspection criteria, safety, and body mechanics; promote a secure work environment.
• Communicate with team, patients, and leadership through updates and documentation.
• Manage performance, scheduling, cross-training, and reduce overtime and agency use.
