Job summary

Memorial Health System in South Bend, IN, is seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker to assemble and deliver patient meals and transport food and supplies. You will load and unload goods, operate dishwashing and sanitation activities, and maintain logs and inventory.

A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are required; lifting up to 30 lbs is expected. This is a full-time, on-site role with the Memorial Health System.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Experience in food service or customer service is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physical tasks in a kitchen.
• Prior experience with dishwashing and sanitation is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and deliver patient meals following dietary guidelines.
• Transport food and supplies to designated locations within the facility.
• Load/unload vehicles and maintain clean, organized storage areas.
• Perform dishwashing and general cleaning duties in the kitchen.
• Maintain driving logs and assist with inventory and supplies.
