Job summary

Crothall Healthcare at Children’s Hospital Colorado in Aurora, CO is hiring a Floor Technician to perform floor care and trash janitorial duties in a hospital environment. The role offers full-time shifts: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm, and 11:00 pm - 7:30 am, with days varying.

Qualifications

• Prior floor care technician experience preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures (stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, spray buffing).
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Uses automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Performs carpet and upholstery tasks (shampooing, damp surfaces, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming).
• Performs maintenance and restoration for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
