Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring immediately for a full-time Floor Technician at Baptist Beaumont Hospital in Beaumont, TX. Summary: Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment, including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, and spray buffing.

Essential functions include operating various floor care machines, treating carpets and upholstery, and restoring multiple floor surfaces.

Qualifications

• Previous floor care experience preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures (stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, spray buffing).
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Uses automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Cleans carpet and upholstery (shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming).
• Performs maintenance and restoration for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
