Job summary

TouchPoint Support Services is hiring for full-time and part-time HOUSEKEEPER/UTILITY positions at St Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates, IL. The role maintains facility areas, cleans equipment, and supports safety and cleanliness to promote patient comfort and healing.

Qualifications

• Ability to walk/stand for extended periods.
• Ability to push containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.
• Mechanical abilities to fix and maintain cleaning equipment.
• Great communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and services cleaning equipment.
• Stocks cleaning carts with supplies.
• Keeps storeroom and closets organized and clean.
• Collects, transports, and disposes of trash and bio-hazardous materials following safety protocols.
• Fixes and maintains cleaning equipment.
• Identifies potential safety hazards and acts accordingly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
