Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine floor maintenance tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing, waxing and polishing various flooring types.
• Operate and maintain equipment like buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and other cleaning tools; perform regular checks on equipment.
• Respond promptly to emergencies related to floor maintenance, including spills.
• Regularly inspect flooring for damage or wear and report to the appropriate personnel.
• Communicate effectively with staff, guests, and management, handling questions or complaints courteously.
• Keep work areas clean and organized, including storage areas for supplies and equipment.
• Prioritize tasks and create schedules for regular maintenance tasks.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current on floor care techniques and safety protocols.
• Minimize disruption to guests by performing tasks during low-traffic periods.
