Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Hospital Flex Officer to support patient and visitor safety at Hartford & Stafford Springs, CT.

This role includes patrolling hospital campuses, controlling access, and providing incident response to maintain a secure environment. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced setting, and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED is required or preferred.
• Valid Driver's License with clean MVR.
• Weekend Availability.
• Security or relevant experience (3+ Months Preferred).
• CT Guard Card (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol client sites to maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Provide customer service and information to employees and visitors.
• Enforce site regulations and directives for personnel and visitors.
• Respond to incidents and communicate with clients as needed.

Hospital Required Certifications (Training Provided as Needed):

• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation - CPR
• First Aid and Automated External Defibrillator - AED
• Management of Aggressive Behavior - MOAB

Helps maintain a safe and secure environment by actively monitoring and patrolling the premise at a variety of client sites. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.
