Ridge Behavioral Health System in Lexington, KY seeks a Chief Financial Officer to lead financial operations for a 110-bed behavioral health hospital. The role focuses on maximizing patient revenue, controlling costs, and ensuring accurate financial reporting across departments.

The CFO will partner with executive leadership to develop budgets, monitor cash flow, and optimize reimbursement strategies within regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of hospital financial operations, tax regulations, and business office processes.
• Skilled at interpreting financial analysis and performance information; prepares schedules and reports.
• Proficient with electronic spreadsheets and data manipulation in databases.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and controls accounts receivables and cash collection.
• Oversees Business Office functions and coordinates with Intake and Utilization Review.
• Evaluates profitability, costs, and payor mix; negotiates third-party contracts.
• Prepares monthly financial statements, analyses, and reports with internal controls.
• Assists in budgeting and forecasting; aligns with organizational objectives.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
