Job summary

Grand River Health Care Center is seeking a General Maintenance professional to support a safe, reliable, and comfortable environment for patients, residents, staff and visitors at our Rifle, Colorado facility.

The role involves routine maintenance, repair and operations across hospital buildings, grounds and systems, including HVAC and plant equipment, with on-call rotation and collaboration with contractors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance or facilities experience required.
• Valid driver's license and clean DMV record required.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical, and basic HVAC systems, along with troubleshooting, communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs across hospital buildings, grounds, and supporting systems.
• Assist with operation and maintenance of HVAC systems and plant equipment.
• Respond to facility emergencies involving power systems, fire alarms, HVAC operations, and other critical equipment.
• Coordinate with contractors and team members while supporting daily facility operations and rotating on-call coverage.
• Perform a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.
