Job summary

Corewell Health is hiring for a day shift Technician who will operate, maintain, install and replace utility systems including chillers, boilers, HVAC, electrical and gas distribution at Dearborn hospital. You will ensure safe, efficient operation, log activities, manage supplies, and coordinate with hospital staff to address emergencies.

The role requires a high school diploma, 5+ years of boiler/chiller experience in a large facility and a valid 1st class Stationary Engineer license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 5 years of relevant documented experience in operation, maintenance, and repair of chillers and boilers in a large facility.
• Licensed as a 1st class Stationary Engineer (LIC-1st class).

Responsibilities

• Respond to house calls in a timely manner.
• Complete operational logs and corrective/preventative work orders.
• Handle off-hours shift and weekend calls as needed.
• Monitor and adjust hospital equipment; document changes.
• Assist/supervise contractors during repairs or building work.
