Job summary

Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead the Plant Maintenance Department in Los Angeles. The role focuses on maintaining hospital facilities, HVAC, electrical and utility systems to ensure safe, uninterrupted operations.

The ideal candidate has a track record in facilities management, budgeting, and supervision. This is a full-time exempt position with strong emphasis on safety, compliance, and cross-department collaboration to support high-quality patient

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One (1) year certificate from college or technical school; or 2 to 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4 year degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, directs and supervises Plant Maintenance activities to keep hospital facilities safe and operable.
• Monitors staff matters, staffing schedules and finishes disciplinary actions.
• Oversees maintenance program and budget adherence for equipment and building systems.
• Ensures energy management program compliance and safety protocols.
• Coordinates with other departments and outside contractors as needed.
• Maintains records of repairs and budgets; supports CQI activities.
