Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a Maintenance Technician to provide effective maintenance, engineering, and mechanical system support across hospital campuses and facilities. You will ensure buildings and equipment meet regulatory requirements and support safe patient care in a clean, safe environment.

The role requires reading blueprints, performing planned and general maintenance, documenting logs, and working with minimal supervision.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of trade experience (electric, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, boilers, locksmith) or HVAC certification.
• Knowledge of healthcare facility codes and infection control is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics; strong documentation skills.

Aufgaben

• Performs planned and general maintenance on systems and equipment in hospital facilities.
• Inspects, tests, maintains, installs, and repairs equipment and mechanical rooms.
• Keeps tools and spaces clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Maintains accurate logs/records of all maintenance rounds and inspections.
• Assists in purchasing parts and supplies following department procedures.
