Job summary

Providence St. Mary Medical Center is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to perform specialized calibration, testing, balancing and maintenance of equipment across facilities. You will also handle maintenance work orders and may provide security coverage as needed, reporting to the Lead Hospital Engineer and department Manager.

The role supports the mission of Providence, with focus on reliable operations, patient safety, and a safe, well-maintained environment for staff and patients alike.

Qualifications

• Training will be on-the-job with self-study in Engineering Qualification Program.
• Upon hire: Every 2 years, a background check and Motor Vehicle Report will be completed.

Responsibilities

• Performs specialized calibration, testing, balancing and maintenance of various machinery, equipment and systems.
• Completes work generated from maintenance work orders.
• Provides security coverage, as requested.
• The Engineer reports to the Lead Hospital Engineer and department Manager.
