Job summary

Renown Health seeks a Journeyman Craftsman to install and repair wall vinyl, carpet tile, sheet vinyl, and VCT, plus wall and door repairs and painting. The role includes carpentry duties and achieving competence in Building Technician tasks.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, applying ADA standards, and ensuring work aligns with building codes, with potential for overtime and location changes within Renown Health facilities.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Knowledge of ADA standards as directed by supervisor.
• Knowledge of OSHA Safety Standards.
• Knowledge of Reno/National Building Codes.
• Ability to install and repair interior finishes at journeyman level.
• Five years' experience as decorator or painter preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair wall vinyl, carpet tile, sheet vinyl, VCT and related finishes.
• Repair walls, paint walls, doors and door frames; perform carpentry tasks.
• Develop work plans and material lists; order materials as needed.
• Work at Renown locations on short notice; ensure work complies with codes.
