Job summary

The Carpenter III at Moffitt Cancer Center performs demand and scheduled preventive maintenance of facility equipment, primarily carpentry and related systems, in accordance with codes. He/she provides indirect guidance and project-specific management to others, ensuring hospital/clinic facilities and equipment are well maintained.

Minimum education is a High School Diploma or GED. A Florida driver's license is required upon hire, and OSHA 10 Hour certification must be obtained within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida driver's license required upon hire.
• Experience in facilities maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform demand and scheduled preventive maintenance of facility equipment, mainly carpentry and associated systems.
• Provide indirect guidance and project-specific management to others.
• Maintain facilities and equipment in hospital or clinic environments.
• Use and maintain hand and power tools; ensure safety procedures are followed.
