Job summary

Memorial Hospital of Gardena is seeking an EVS Technician I (Floor Care) for the Evening Shift on a per diem, part-time basis. You will perform daily cleaning of patient care and non-patient areas, maintain floors, operate floor care equipment, and follow the 7-step cleaning procedures with AIDET principles.

You will work on-site in Gardena, CA, with a focus on safety, HIPAA compliance, and helping improve hospital cleanliness and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years hospital EVS experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and service orientation.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and safety procedures.
• Good organizational skills and basic computer/IT system use.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care and maintenance in all facility areas.
• Clean restrooms, offices, patient rooms, and treatment areas.
• Operate floor cleaning equipment per safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintain floor care logs and complete checklists.
• Respond to requests and follow up on assigned tasks promptly.
