Job summary

South Peninsula Hospital is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services worker to maintain clean and safe hospital and campus areas, supporting patient care and the community's trust. Base pay is $20.35 per hour with a 15% premium added in lieu of benefits.

This role requires standing, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 45 lbs, with shifts that vary and environment conditions indoors and outdoors. Responsibilities include housekeeping and laundry tasks, replenishing supplies, reporting

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English.
• Ability to pass a Job Function Test.
• Attention to detail, flexibility in work assignments.
• Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality of employees', patients/residents, facility records, conversations, and work performed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and safety in all hospital and campus areas.
• Perform housekeeping and laundry tasks to meet regulatory standards.
• Replenish supplies and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Assist with special cleaning assignments and work flexibly as needed.
