Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper - Environmental Services Technician for full-time Day and Evening shifts. Hours are Monday–Friday and every other weekend, 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

This role supports patient care by cleaning restrooms and rooms, handling waste and regulated materials, following infection prevention protocols, using PPE, and delivering courteous service to staff, patients and visitors. Comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Clean restrooms and patient rooms according to protocol.
• Follow infection prevention protocols and select proper chemicals.
• Handle solid, chemical, bio-hazard, chemotherapy and pharmaceutical waste.
• Use PPE correctly and practice safe lifting.
• Maintain logs and document daily assignments.

Responsibilities

• Perform full range of restroom and patient room cleaning.
• Follow all cleaning protocols for various room types and areas.
• Utilize the Epic system to manage beds and patient flow; log in/out as required.
• Interact with staff, patients and visitors with professional, courteous service.
