Job summary

Columbia County Health System in Dayton, WA is seeking a full-time Environmental Service team member to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, residents, and staff.

This on-site role runs 40 hours per week with a Saturday–Tuesday schedule from 6:00am to 4:30pm. Compensation is $18.00–$22.00 per hour with a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K, PTO, sick time accruals, and six paid holidays.

Qualifications

• No licensing required; previous healthcare/hospital housekeeping experience preferred.
• BLS certification every 2 years; will help to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in all assigned areas throughout the facility.
• Perform window, wall, and surface cleaning as needed.
• Make beds in patient and resident care areas.
• Handle and dispose of hazardous waste safely.
• Complete regular and terminal cleaning tasks.
• Perform all aspects of floor care, including maintenance and occasional evening work.
