Job summary

North Country Healthcare (NCH) seeks an Environmental Services (EVS) Technician to clean hospital areas including patient rooms, nursing units, offices and waiting areas in the North Conway Clinic with proper chemical handling per procedure. Reports to the Supervisor, Materials Management/Housekeeping/Laundry.

The position offers an hourly pay range and requires the ability to read, follow directions and work with minimal supervision after training.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write; basic literacy required.
• Ability to read housekeeping schedules and follow directions.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision after training.
• Prior EVS experience in a healthcare facility preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Clean all areas of the hospital including patient rooms, units, offices, and public spaces.
• Use appropriate chemicals and supplies per procedure and infection control guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in the North Conway Clinic.
• Report to Supervisor, Materials Management/Housekeeping/Laundry.
