Job summary

Cedars-Sinai Marina Hospital in California is seeking a Housekeeping / Janitor / Environmental Service Technician to maintain a clean, sanitary hospital environment. You will perform a variety of cleaning tasks under general direction, including rooms, offices, and common areas, while replenishing supplies and assisting with setup of spaces.

The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of EVS experience in healthcare and a High School Diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• No diploma/degree required - minimum
• High School Diploma/GED - preferred
• 6 months Prior EVS experience in healthcare - preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintains premises in a clean and orderly manner following Infection Control practices.
• Cleans offices, patients' rooms, common areas, lavatories, halls, food service areas and related spaces.
• Cleans light fixtures, ceilings, vents, walls, furniture, windows, floors and carpets.
• Performs dusting, mopping, vacuuming and sweeping and replenishes supplies.
• Moves furniture, hangs draperies and sets up tables and chairs.
• May change sheets and replenish linens and follows waste disposal policies.
