Select Specialty Hospital - Akron, part of Select Medical, is hiring an Environmental Services Technician (EVS)/Housekeeping for a full-time shift from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Akron, OH.

The role focuses on maintaining a clean, sanitary hospital environment and delivering excellent patient and staff service. Responsibilities include cleaning patient rooms and common areas, disinfecting surfaces, making beds, and replenishing supplies, with an emphasis on safety and infection control.

Qualifications

• Previous Housekeeping experience required.
• High School degree or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean work environment in patient rooms, offices, lounges and common areas.
• Clean assigned areas using cleaning solutions and disinfectants to prevent the spread of disease.
• Make beds with clean linen and replenish supplies.
• Assist with general hospital sanitation, order, and appearance.
