Job summary

Bronson Health in Battle Creek is seeking an Environmental Service Technician for the 2nd shift. This full‑time role supports infection control and patient safety by cleaning patient rooms, public areas, and hospital spaces, including floors, furniture, and equipment.

You will rotate weekends and holidays, work within Environmental Services, and may be eligible for sign-on and retention bonuses. Prior cleaning experience is welcome; strong teamwork and attention to safety are essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms (occupied and unoccupied), public areas, surgical areas, and other spaces as assigned.
• Stock supplies and keep equipment clean and in working order.
• Follow safety and infection control guidelines to ensure the hospital is always clean and safe.
• Provide excellent service to hospital staff and patients.
• Work closely with the Environmental Services Manager to meet quality standards.
• Follow detailed instructions and regularly check work to meet quality standards.
