RML Specialty Hospital is hiring an EVS Tech I for the Hinsdale, IL location. The role involves cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining patient rooms and support areas on the 1st shift (6:00 am - 2:30 pm) as part of the Environmental Services team.

The position is full-time (80 hours per pay period) with benefits, and reports to the EVS Director/Supervisor. Requirements include 1-2 years of EVS or related experience, ability to operate floor care machinery, and the capacity to lift substantial

Qualifications

• Ability to positively communicate with patients, visitors, and staff.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Physical stamina to lift moderate to heavy weights and operate cleaning equipment.
• Flexibility to work off-shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, sanitizes, and services patient rooms and treatment areas following procedures.
• Maintains floors and carpets; moves furniture and equipment as needed.
• Performs heavy cleaning tasks including burnishing and deep cleaning as assigned.
• Prefers to provide excellent customer service and assist the Director when needed.
• Completes required paperwork and participates in mandatory reviews.
