Job summary

RML Specialty Hospital in Hinsdale, IL, is seeking an EVS Tech I for the 1st shift (6:00 am - 2:30 pm). This full-time position involves cleaning patient rooms and care areas, moving furniture, and handling floor care duties to maintain a sanitary environment.

You will report to the EVS Director and collaborate with the team to uphold STAIRS values. The role requires 1-2 years of environmental services experience, physical stamina, and the ability to work evenings or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• One to two years environmental services experience.
• Ability to operate all department machinery, including floor care equipment.
• Ability to understand oral instructions.
• Ability to read and understand written assignments, policies, memos, and SDS sheets.
• Preferred: one to two years health care environmental services experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms and care units daily to prevent infections.
• Move furniture and equipment between rooms as needed.
• Perform floor care including burnishing, stripping, and waxing when assigned.
• Complete required paperwork for quality assurance and work orders.
