• Experience in hospital housekeeping preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Follow departmental policies for cleaning/disinfecting chemicals and equipment.
• Stock and maintain EVS supply cart/closet at start and end of shift.
• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, offices, restrooms, corridors per schedule.
• Perform discharge/terminal cleaning and isolation room cleaning as assigned.
• Remove trash, linen, and regulated medical waste per hospital policy.
• Replenish disposable items like soap, towels, paper and sanitizer.
• Clean equipment and furniture per EVS procedures.
• Respond promptly to service calls and maintain safety signage.
• Dust and spot-clean high and low surfaces, focusing on high-touch areas.
• Use PPE and infection prevention practices.
• Record tasks using the tracking system and provide status updates.
• Provide courteous service while protecting patient privacy.
