Prime Healthcare's Mission Regional Medical Center in Mission, TX is seeking an Environmental Services Technician (EVSTech) to maintain a safe, clean hospital environment. You will clean and disinfect patient rooms, operating rooms, and common areas, handle waste disposal, restock supplies, and respond to urgent cleaning needs.

Full-time, days shift, 8-hour shifts. The role requires at least one year of acute care hospital environmental service experience, a high school diploma or equivalent,

Qualifications

• 1 year of knowledge within acute care hospital environmental service techniques, practices and procedures preferred.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to read, understand and communicate effectively.

Responsabilités

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, operating rooms, and common areas to prevent the spread of infections.
• Properly disposing of medical and hazardous waste according to hospital protocols.
• Restock supplies like gloves, masks, and cleaning materials in various hospital areas.
• Clean and maintain floors, restrooms, and other surfaces using specialized equipment and chemicals.
• Respond to urgent cleaning needs such as spills or contamination incidents and communicate promptly using phone, handheld radios, pagers, and other devices.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness within the hospital and adjacent buildings, which may require traveling between facilities independently.
