Job summary

Dodge County Hospital is seeking an Environmental Services (EVS) Supervisor to oversee daily EVS operations, supervise staff, and promote infection prevention and patient safety. The role requires leadership, training, and adherence to hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include scheduling, quality monitoring, and coordinating with departments to maintain a clean, safe hospital environment. Evening, night, and on-call hours may be required based on needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Additional education or training in Environmental Services, Healthcare Environmental Services, Management, Infection Prevention, or related field preferred.
• Two years of environmental services or related healthcare experience preferred.
• Two years of supervisory or management experience required.
• Experience with cleaning, disinfection, and infection prevention practices is required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, schedule, and coordinate daily Environmental Services staff activities.
• Assign cleaning duties and ensure adequate staffing coverage for all hospital areas.
• Monitor completion and quality of routine, terminal, discharge, and specialty cleaning.
• Ensure patient rooms and treatment areas are kept to established standards.
• Ensure proper handling, labeling, storage, and disposal of cleaning chemicals.
