Job summary

Aramark is seeking an EVS Worker to clean and maintain patient/facility areas in a healthcare setting. Duties include sanitizing rooms, restrooms, and common areas, following infection control procedures, and supporting a safe, orderly environment.

The role requires following safety protocols, wearing PPE as needed, and delivering courteous service to patients, clients, and staff. Physical activity, occasional PPE usage, and adherence to facility requirements are expected.

Qualifications

• This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing.
• Uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
• Ability to follow basic safety procedures and precautions.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to procedures to provide a safe working environment, including OSHA, state/local, federal, and Aramark regulations.
• Cleans and sanitizes patient/resident rooms and cleans restrooms following infection control procedures.
• Maintains and cleans housekeeping equipment.
• Cleans assigned areas to Aramark and client standards.
• Stores and disposes of trash per procedures and transports to designated areas.
• Reports maintenance concerns via work orders.
• Maintains friendly, efficient customer service demeanor toward customers and co-workers.
