Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• +2 years environmental service experience in a hospital setting.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and equipment.
• Ability to clean and disinfect areas with exposure to blood and pathogens.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning projects and assist with moves and set ups.
• Facilitate employee training and development.
• Conduct area inspections to monitor quality and infection control standards.
• Maintain area records, supplies and equipment inventory.
• Assist housekeeping and floor staff with patient rooms and common areas as needed.
• Follow PPE guidelines when handling blood and bodily fluids.
