Job summary

Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital in St. Johnsbury, VT is seeking a detail-oriented Facilities Technician to join the Environmental Services team.

You will perform general cleaning tasks across corridors, rooms, and common areas, while supporting security duties and a limited set of maintenance tasks. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years of experience in carpet and hard surface flooring maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of carpet and hard surface flooring maintenance experience preferred.
• Healthcare environment cleaning experience highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned duties as outlined in task sheets and discharge checklist.
• Clean, dust, polish, disinfect, restock and empty trash in rooms, hallways and bathrooms.
• Operate mechanical floor cleaner and vacuum to maintain floors throughout the hospital.
