Carson Valley Health is seeking an EVS Housekeeping Aide on a per diem/full-time basis to maintain aseptic hospital environments. The role involves cleaning walls, floors, fixtures, and patient areas, with emphasis on infection control and safety.

Qualifications

• CHEST certification preferred within first year of employment.
• HWOERT certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dust furniture, woodwork, equipment and dust mop floors.
• Polish and clean fixtures in utility rooms.
• Wet mops rooms, halls and public areas in a hospital.
• Shampoo rugs and furniture and operate floor cleaning equipment.
• Clean and disinfect all fixtures, floors, and walls of bathrooms.
• Ensure carts and closets are locked and chemicals are stored properly.
• Maintain occupied patient rooms with daily cleaning and restocking supplies.
• Perform terminal cleaning of patient rooms and prepare rooms for new occupants.
• Clean wheelchairs and gurneys and ensure safe operation of equipment.
